This self-build project, nestled within the picturesque scenery of the Greensand Way, is a prime example of how a new development can fit seamlessly into a rural landscape. 

Drawing upon the surrounding countryside and its abundance of oak trees, the homeowners introduced elements of this beautiful material into the architectural build of the home, through internal oak beams, fitted furniture and Havwoods’ engineered oak flooring. Robust in structure and light in tone, the planks were installed throughout the whole house, creating a feeling of continuity and unifying each individual room. 

This concept is reflected in the Prime Grade surface of the chosen plank, which offers a smooth, uniform finish that beautifully showcases the wood’s natural grain pattern.
