Abacus was the unofficial 'to go to' spot for the financial boys and girls who worked around Cheapside; the huge space and lively music lending itself to a party atmosphere that became famous enough to draw in tourists and bankers alike. Times have changed and Abacus has been reborn as Forge, but the beautifully textured oak plank floor from Havwoods remains. This must be a sterling testament to the wood's exceptional durability as well as its sublime good looks.
