Located on the south coast in Shoreham by Sea, the homeowners of this spacious and contemporary property opted for rustic flooring from Havwoods to add charm to their eclectic interior and bring the downstairs spaces together.
Featuring a brickslip wall installed as part of the design and a neutral backdrop, the interior designer, Sarah, introduced pops of colour and texture in the open plan living and dining area via their furniture and home accessories. Havwoods’ light and contemporary Alzon Rustic 207mm 1-Strip boards feature throughout and add to the feeling of space with their wide 207mm design.
Boasting plenty of natural light through multiple windows and skylights, the soft colouring of the boards help to reflect light around the room.
Complementing the living space, the designer opted for Havwoods’ Alzon Rustic 130mm Herringbone flooring in the hallway.
The on-trend design spans the width of the entryway and helps to create the impression of a much larger space, whilst complementing other natural elements including the staircase and botanical motif wallpaper.
The open riser staircase further adds to this illusion, whilst the bold fern wallpaper introduces a playful design aspect.
