A Londonewcastle development designed by Ian Simpson Architects, at Queen’s Park Place the emphasis is on light, with floor to ceiling windows and balconies or roof gardens for all properties.

Queen’s Park is one of those delightfully British urban villages. It’s a genuine London suburb, just 15 minutes from Oxford Circus by Underground, but with a 30-acre park and, purportedly, the best weekly farmer’s market in the UK. Now it also boasts a contemporary development of 116 Manhattan-style apartments and penthouses.

A Londonewcastle development designed by Ian Simpson Architects, at Queen’s Park Place the emphasis is on light, with floor to ceiling windows and balconies or roof gardens for all properties. The metropolitan styling of the interiors is the brainchild of Tamzin Greenhill and has been heavily influenced by her ten years spent remodelling homes in New York.

Specifications included engineered wood flooring throughout all kitchenand living ares, however, the plank Londonewcastle originally chose proved to be unsuitable and Avallon was suggested as an alternative.

Like Andora, Marne and Champagne (illustrated overleaf as a chevron at the Parade Ring restaurant, Ascot) it is brushed to emphasise the grain, resulting a particularly interesting floor, whilst the exceptionally consistent quality and click installation system make Pureplank an ideal choice for large projects requiring split deliveries such as this.
