The Studio is a contemporary residential build designed for its resident artist owner, the self-contained dwelling offers a multifunctional space for both creativity and living.
Situated in a quiet East Sussex village on the edge of the South Downs National Park, The Studio is a contemporary residential build that beautifully embraces the juxtaposition of light and dark. Designed for its resident artist owner, the self-contained dwelling offers a multifunctional space for both creativity and living.
The new studio required a durable and attractive floorcovering that would be suitable for use with underfloor heating. Havwoods’ Nature Oak Herringbone was the perfect solution; hardwearing with a pre-finished lacquer, the stability of its engineered construction ensures a sturdy underfoot surface, whilst the classic herringbone pattern, golden oak tone and coordinating skirting detail works with the space to create a sense of light and simplicity.
