Located in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Reading is the Bradfield College Music Hall.
Part of a large-scale renovation by Lewandowski Architects, this space has been transformed into a contemporary performance space for the whole community to enjoy. Havwoods provided a comprehensive wood flooring solution that would complete the space and tie the entire scheme together.
Oak Corniga from the Venture Plank collection was selected due to its hardwearing properties.
An ideal choice for spaces with heavy footfall, these durable planks require very little maintenance allowing for long-term durability.
With its pale, warm colouring and characterful markings, the boards add texture and character to the large open-plan space whilst reflecting the natural light beautifully. Paired alongside dark walls, grey seating and warm linear lighting, the planks help to soften the space creating visual contrast.
