Prestigious, elegant and almost regal are terms that arise when describing The Balmoral; one of the most famous hotels in the collection of the Rocco Forte family. The name derives from Gaelic meaning ‘majestic dwelling’ and this it certainly is.
The luxurious establishment now boasts six different restaurants and bars, the latest which opened in June 2018.
An alliance formed between legendary chefs Alain & Michel Roux and Rocco Forte, a marriage of two remarkable families in the hospitality world. The result is a dining experience that combines the finest Scottish produce with the excellence of French cuisine.
The vibrant interior is the perfect fit for the glamour of this venture and was designed by the sister of Sir Rocco Forte: Olga Polizzi, who worked in partnership with internationally acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
An oak floor of the deepest, richest tone provides the perfect palette on which to build the design on and our Oak Hartland furnishes the look impeccably: beautifully distressed, smoked, black oiled and super wide boards.
