The design brief was to create a more spacious home in the Italian modernist style, and it is a great example of architectural design and interior design working seamlessly together.
In an excellent example of targeting, BTL Property, a young design and build company, has gained an enviable reputation by operating solely in the wealthy south west area of London. They have been involved in hundreds of stylish projects since their inception in 2002, but last year their impressive whole house refurbishment in Fulham also caught the eye of the design et al panellists who shortlisted it for their recent luxury residence in London award.
The design brief was to create a more spacious home in the Italian modernist style, and it is a great example of architectural design and interior design working seamlessly together. Dramatic, timeless yet modern, lighting and glazing are key features and led the development of the scheme for each room, whilst the warm toned floor in wide planks and herringbone blocks was fundamental and set the ambience for the entire house.
