A special order Versailles version of Cedro, a hero Honey color from our bestselling Venture Plank collection, flows throughout the boutique, bringing warmth and geometric character to the space.
A warm welcome on Madison Avenue
Favorite Daughter brought its effortlessly polished approach to womenswear to New York City with the opening of its Madison Avenue store in November 2025. Founded by sisters Sara and Erin Foster, the 1,400-square-foot boutique offers a curated collection of premium denim, knits, suiting and elevated everyday apparel.
The interior reflects the brand's refined yet approachable identity, pairing classic architectural detailing with warm materials and contemporary furnishings. Throughout the store, Havwoods flooring provides a distinctive foundation that brings depth and character to the retail environment.
A bespoke take on Cedro
For the project, Favorite Daughter selected a special order Versailles version of Cedro, one of Havwoods' Hero Honey colors from the bestselling Venture Plank collection.
Cedro captures the warm, bright and naturally relaxed character of Honey timber tones. Reimagined in a Versailles pattern for this project, the floor introduces an elegant geometric detail while allowing the natural variation and warmth of the timber to remain central to the design. The pattern can be seen extending throughout the boutique, creating visual continuity between clothing displays, the checkout area and the store's more intimate merchandising spaces.
Bringing the design to life
Construction was executed by TriStar Construction, translating the design into a sophisticated retail environment in the heart of New York.
The completed store demonstrates how bespoke flooring format can transform a familiar Havwoods color into something unique to a project. With Cedro's inviting Honey tones combined with the intricacy of Versailles, the floor brings warmth, movement and individuality to Favorite Daughter's Madison Avenue home.
