The luxury Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York delivers sophisticated hospitality on an intimate scale, befitting its location in the city’s most coveted neighborhood, Tribeca. With interiors by world-renowned designer Martin Brudnizki, The first U.S. outpost of France’s family-run Groupe Barrière, known for hotels and restaurants that embody the French art de vivre, the hotel is destined to become a new landmark on Tribeca’s cobblestoned streets.

Tribeca may be the most exclusive area of New York, but it’s very much a residential neighborhood. Lavender provides a residential underpinning to the rooms and marries well to the other key tones of green and cream the design makes a bold statement while remaining graceful and comforting — and distinct from the red, black, gold, and beige of Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's Paris.

The flooring of Barriere Fouquet was custom-designed by Havwoods to perfectly match the hotel's Art Deco style and refined furnishings and finishes. The use of parquet flooring, familiar colors, and grading were all tailored to complement the warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel. The floors are layered with area rugs, feature-rich mohair upholstery, high-gloss burr walnut, and herringbone patterns, creating grand yet subtle spaces that are dialed down from traditional fancy Parisian hotels.

Located on the ground floor, the restaurant is cloaked in the trademark red and black palette of Fouquet's Paris, with high-gloss wood paneling on the walls, parquet rich brown floors, curved leather banquettes, and cut-glass chandeliers. The restaurant's floors, rich in color and texture, perfectly complement the overall design of the space, making it a true standout feature of the hotel.
