Located in Boston’s Back Bay district, Pacific Lake Partners wanted to create a workplace that contrasted with the traditionally corporate character of the surrounding building. Designed by VC Arch, the resulting interior combines contemporary workplace functionality with a richer material palette, grounded by Conquest (HW3968) engineered European Oak flooring.
Deep Cocoa tones for a contemporary workplace
Designed with commercial spaces in mind
Conquest sits within Havwoods’ Cocoa color group, bringing deep, sophisticated brown tones to the office interior. A key consideration for the project was finding a dark wood floor suitable for a busy workplace environment. Conquest (HW3968) features a smoked finish that gives the European Oak its rich depth of color. This combination of engineered construction and darker tones made Conquest a considered choice for balancing the aesthetic requirements of the design with the practical demands of a commercial interior.
