Havwoods makes impactful return to BDNY trade show in New York.

The Havwoods team exhibited at BDNY (Boutique Design New York), the ultimate trade show for the hospitality trend setters in November 2019. Located at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, BDNY brings together 8,000+ highly-discerning designers, architects and developers that sets the standard for many of the world's best known hospitality projects. Our booth offered the same immersive experience of our wood flooring showrooms across the globe.
What’s new?
Over the past year, Havwoods has introduced over 150 new products, including some incredible versatile wall covering, stunning shades of wood flooring in new finishes, and playful patterns. Show attendees were able to see these new introductions at the stand, along with some our classics, plus got to know our team of experts that Havwoods can provide the hospitality industry.
On display this year was the recently-launched Yakisugi veneers - inspired by the traditional Japanese method of wood charring dating back to the 18th century. Designers and architects admired the surface of the wood that is available in deep, smoky tones or a range of vibrant colours.
Some surprises at the show...
Havwoods partnered with Naturalist Interiors, our booth neighbor and fellow natural material enthusiasts to bring show attendees the best of all things wood. Havwoods supplied the Naturalist booth with the bold and beautiful Grande plank, black wood flooring to compliment their new hospitality line "Repose" of wood and resin furniture. The Naturalist team elevated the Havwoods booth with a real garden wall, composed of moss, and to bring our sign to life. The teams hosted a cocktail hour at the show and raised money to plant trees with the National Forest Foundation.
