Executive MANAGEMENT Team
Having advised Havwoods for 7 years in his previous role as Partner at RSM, 7th largest Global Accountancy firm, Andy took the decision to join Havwoods in September 2017 as CFO. Since then, he has been pivotal in the restructure and strategic development of the business, successfully translating the global shareholder desire to take the solid foundations already in place and build a globally resilient business, with a diversified portfolio of products and across all geographic markets.
25+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager/HR working in professional practice and for a PLC business, supporting the Owners and Executives. Joined Havwoods in March 2019 as an Executive Assistant to the Global Directors, the role includes the management of HR, Office Facilities for Havwoods Limited.
Over 30 years’ experience in purchasing, manufacturing and distribution activities Skilled in Operations Management, Business Development and Business Process Improvement. Has managed operations in several countries across Europe and in the US. Holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.
Qualified Chartered Accountant. Previously Senior Manager with RSM, 7th largest Global Accountancy Practice, specialising in fast growing entrepreneurial business financial and operational reporting development. Development of KPI reporting in line with strategic aims. Joined Havwoods June 2018.
20+ years’ experience working across all marketing, sales and ecommerce disciplines including digital/print marketing, lead nurturing and conversion, social media, technical development and content strategy. Paul is an award winning, hands on marketing and innovation specialist with an excellent strategic thinking track record.
With a passion for business and contributing to organisational growth from start up to maturity - Megan is a result orientated finance professional with exposure to a diverse range of industries. Since joining Havwoods in 2015, Megan has been able to align her own personal strengths and professional ambitions with the premium Havwoods brand, undertaking a pioneering growth strategy that maintains the values of this family business. Megan is CPA qualified and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, something reiterated by her Graduate membership from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she is also a passionate advocate for women in business.
Employee of Havwoods for 24 years and counting! Anthony has experience across many areas of the business, he started in the Warehouse fresh out of University and also held roles in Transport, Product Management, Business Development and Sales. In 2016, Anthony began supporting our North American business securing many global brands including WeWork, Google, McDonalds & Ralph Lauren. Following this transatlantic success Anthony took the reigns as North America MD in 2019. Outside of work Anthony is a keen traveller and avid golfer and loves to combine the two, trips to Pebble Beach and Milford Sound by helicopter in New Zealand some personal favourites.
SALES MANAGEMENT Team
After 10 years in the furniture industry Vern moved to Havwoods in 2014 to take on responsibility for the Purchasing Department. After 6 successful years, Vern transitioned into International Sales utilising his vast supplier and product experience to accelerate the Havwoods brand to new heights around the world. As International Sales continue to grow, Vern has taken on a wider role overseeing the UK commercial sectors and also heads up a global Sales Leadership Forum.
From joining Havwoods in 2012, Edward has evolved his career from finance & IT, via a hugely successful 5-year stint in Operations where he managed the UK & North American Operations team which included establishing our Southern England distribution hub directly feeding the London market. Following this success he has taken up the mantle co-leading the rapidly growing residential sales team who work with architects, designers, contractors, installers and of course home owners ensuring all clients receive the very best experience when choosing their floor finishes. His passions for interiors shines through in his work, and is a firm believer that "home is where the heart is".
With 14 years experience in the wood flooring industry supporting clients in sourcing the best products for their project, Ralph now heads up our Retail division & co-leads our rapidly growing Residential Sector. Having a great belief that bricks and mortar retail will never be totally overtaken by digital, it motivates him to support clients realise their consistent global brand visions with floor finishes that add a dimension to the customer experience that only natural timber can. Joined Havwoods in June 2007.
Since joining Havwoods in 2014, Jarl has worked some of the largest global corporations including Barclays, HSBC, KPMG, AMEX, Google, Apple and CBRE to deliver exceptional workspaces. He also has extensive experience in the increasingly popular co-working space and with smaller scale office projects. Jarl enjoys nothing more than supporting landlords and tennents achieve their design aspirations with architects and contractors within the constant buzz of the office fitout world.
Gary has been a natural solutions finder throughout his career. Starting within healthcare industry, he soon moved to a more fitting role within product specification, where he was providing washroom fixtures for the likes of Heathrow International Airport. In March 2016 Gary joined Havwoods and has seen his specification sales skills install perfectly in the world of wood. Gary has combined his love of food and drink with his passion for helping clients choose the right floors and now heads up the Bar & Restaurant sector, with the notable recent launch of the internationally expanding Marugame chain into the UK market.
Fresh to the team in 2020, Jenson has already worked with some of the biggest hotel brands within the hospitality industry. His project management background and a lifelong passion for wood ensure that he is ideally placed to provide solutions and product choices that will create the most incredible spaces. Jenson works closely with clients of all sizes, from large multinationals to boutique and independent hotels providing invaluable advice and support to help them make their vision a successful reality.
UK & EUROPE DEPARTMENT HEADS
Having joined Havwoods in 1999, Leonard has held roles in both Operations and Finance before establishing himself in his current role as Finance Manager. During his time he has overseen UK turnover growth of over 200% and managed financial relations with upwards of 1,300 suppliers. Leonard is passionately motivated to improving profitability, liquidity and efficiency within all areas of the business.
Mari Daly joined the Havwoods team in April 2018 and since then has looked after the company’s European marketing and showrooms. Mari’s responsibilities reach from PR to advertising, copywriting, events, product launches and campaigns, and showroom team management. She’s passionate about wood and no surprise as she’s from Finland! Her most favourite tree is Birch.
