At Havwoods we love to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service from the moment they first get in touch with us to the point when they receive the products. Our customers are at the heart of everything that we do.
UK & reserved stock
We hold stock of many of our products, which will be available for an immediate dispatch if needed. Alternatively, stock may be reserved with a 20% deposit for up to two months in order to guarantee delivery as and when required.
All UK mainland orders of £500 or more in value are delivered free of charge on a 3-4 working day service. For any orders less than this value we charge a nominal fee of £25. If your need is more urgent we can offer you the following services. Please note delivery costs listed are ex VAT.
Please make sure you are prepared
Please note that the above delivery services are a kerbside trade delivery services and it is your responsibility to carry the goods from the delivery truck into the property. We recommend that labour is arranged to assist with the offload. A number of our products are over 2.3 meters in length and will therefore not come out of the rear of the vehicle or on a tail lift. Any long products will need to be offloaded by hand from the side of the delivery vehicle.
Deliveries can be made on large commercial vehicles. We will assume that the property is easily accessible to these types of vehicles. Please advise of any restrictions at point of order.
How will my order arrive?
Please be aware most of our shipments will be on a pallet and this will be left with you at the point of delivery along with any packing used to protect the goods whilst in transit.
What if I miss my delivery?
If no one is available to accept your delivery at the address you have provided, or suitable labour was not arranged, we will charge you for re-delivery of £30.00 + VAT when you reschedule.
Order not as expected?
It is important to check the packages for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. In the rare event that you receive damaged goods or there are missing items, please make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. Please contact us directly as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolved it swiftly.
Booking for an installer
We strongly advise against booking installers until your new floor has arrived. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses because of problems with delivery or floors not being acclimatised properly.
Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Ireland, islands and non mainland UK
Please be aware that customers living outside of Mainland UK or in some territories of Scotland may not be eligible for next day delivery or AM service. Deliveries outside mainland UK (Scottish Higlands, Ireland, islands etc) will incur extra delivery charges. These are prices upon application. Bank Holidays and out of hours deliveries
