BIID Interior Design Awards

BIID President Lindsey Rendall said:

We can’t wait to see the shortlisted entries!’

Entries for the awards are now open and are welcomed from all interior designers, for both residential and commercial projects. Entrants are invited to submit their projects for the following regional categories:

• Scotland
• North & North West
• Wales and Northern Ireland
• Midlands & East Anglia
• Central London
• Greater London
• South East
• South West

All projects shortlisted for the BIID Interior Design Awards will be visited in person by expert assessors. The judges will be looking for outstanding examples of interior design projects and the rigorous judging criteria will assess successful meeting of a design brief, creative design solutions and technical skills.

The Awards will celebrate every type of interior design, from the largest commercial project to the smallest residential dwelling. In addition, two new landmark prizes will be awarded – the Interior of the Year Prize, which will be awarded to the best interior design project in the UK and the Anna Whitehead Prize, which will be awarded to the best achievement in sustainable interior design.

The prizes will be awarded at an exciting new awards ceremony, set to take place on 5th October 2022, which will be held at the stunning Drapers’ Hall, London.
