The 2020 Flooring Industry Awards

The CFJ/CFA 2020 awards are the UK flooring industry’s most celebrated annual awards. This year, and in the safest available fashion, the event was held entirely online but still managed to bring through some of the glamour the many flooring awards finalists deserved.
Havwoods was a finalist in three awards categories and won in two! The first project was with MacGregor Flooring in ‘Flooring in hotels’ category, where Havwoods provided wood flooring for Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity in Grassmarket, Edinburgh. The second win was with Loughton Contracts in the ‘Flooring in visitor attractions’ category, where Havwoods provided wood flooring for the Science Museum in London. Engineered Oak Chevron boards from Havwoods were installed to the 150m long Medicine Gallery.
All finalists had wonderful projects which is encouraging for the flooring industry especially now when the times are challenging. We would like to thank for the Contract Flooring Journal as well as the guest host, former snooker champion John Parrott, for a wonderfully executed event.
