Arthaus Condominiums in Philadelphia brings a refined, contemporary design sensibility to one of the city’s most prominent cultural corridors.
Conceived as an enclave of modern luxury, Arthaus features a series of amenity spaces designed with clean lines, neutral tones, and an emphasis on natural light. Havwoods was selected to provide premium engineered hardwood flooring that would elevate this serene, elegant atmosphere while offering durability for high use communal areas.
To support the interior vision, two distinct Havwoods products were incorporated throughout the amenities. Blanco (HW3005), a pale toned European oak in a classic herringbone format, was installed in the cafe, clubroom, and boardroom. Its bright, airy palette amplifies the natural light that fills these spaces and contributes to their calm and sophisticated character. The subtle variation in the Blanco plank adds quiet movement underfoot and brings texture to the minimalist design.

In the library, where a richer and more intimate ambiance was desired, designers selected Salvo (HW3244B) from Venture Plank. With its deeper tone and refined herringbone layout, Salvo brings warmth, contrast, and a sense of grounded comfort to the room. Its placement helps distinguish the library as a quieter retreat while maintaining visual continuity with the broader amenity level.
The design called for a flooring solution that could bridge style and elegance, setting the tone for a space where guests relax, gather, and transition between settings. Installed in a classic chevron pattern, Neutro’s warm honey tones provide both richness and balance, grounding the light furnishings while complementing the room’s sophisticated architectural detailing.
