Located within the iconic Westin St. Francis on Union Square, Bourbon Steak San Francisco delivers a refined dining experience rooted in quality craftsmanship and modern luxury. For this celebrated steakhouse, award-winning interior design firm AvroKO created a custom flooring solution that grounds the space with warmth, depth, and visual drama.
A rich foundation for an iconic dining room.
Customized luxury
At the heart of the restaurant, Havwoods supplied bespoke Versailles panel flooring crafted from American Black Walnut and Salvo products, finished in a rich, deep cocoa tone. The flooring was laid in a unique and striking pattern, adding architectural rhythm beneath the dining room’s grand columns, rich leather seating, and layered lighting. The deep cocoa finish enhances the historic character of the hotel while reinforcing Bourbon Steak’s elevated yet inviting atmosphere.
Refined private dining spaces
In the private dining rooms, custom Salvo planks in the same deep cocoa tone were selected to create a more intimate and tailored environment. The natural variation and refined finish of the wood subtly define these spaces, offering a sense of enclosure and exclusivity while maintaining continuity with the main dining areas.
