Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill offers a refined seaside escape in the heart of downtown Toronto. Located along King Street West, the two-level restaurant has been completely transformed by designer Ken Lam of Navigate Design. Once a nightclub, the venue is now a bold and contemporary dining destination inspired by the coastal regions of Southern France and the Northern Mediterranean.
The design balances playful glamour with modern sophistication. A crisp blue and white palette sets the tone, supported by sculptural lighting, elegant seating, and striking artistic elements. Signature features include luxurious cherry blossom trees and a dramatic sapphire chandelier that anchors the main dining room. The result is an immersive atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated, and transportive.

Havwoods hardwood surfaces play a key role in defining both levels of the space. On the upper floor, Tours (HW2190) from the PurePlank collection provides a soft blonde tone in a rustic grade plank. This flooring introduces warmth and complements the airy coastal aesthetic. On the ground floor, Haydock (HW2026), also from the PurePlank collection, delivers a smoky grey rustic chevron pattern that grounds the dining environment with texture and visual interest. Together, the two surfaces create harmony between the light filled upper mezzanine and the energetic main dining hall.
Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill stands as a vibrant example of how design, materials, and storytelling can come together to create a destination restaurant. The collaboration between Navigate Design and Havwoods supports a cohesive vision that transports guests to the Mediterranean coast, right in the center of Toronto.
