Redesigned by the Rockwell Group, the hotel blends modern luxury with the historic character of its Beaux-Arts setting, creating suites that feel both vibrant and grounded.
The product selection
Our platinum toned Columba (HW16009P) was selected in a herringbone pattern throughout the hotel suites. Part of the Italian Collection, Columba is a standout for its elegant tone, subtle variation, and timeless appeal. The herringbone layout introduces rhythm and movement while reinforcing a sense of craftsmanship and luxury.
Design scheme
The suite design draws inspiration from the changing seasons of Union Square Park. Botanical carpets, ombré wallpapers, and plush velvets in autumnal hues bring warmth and texture, while curated details reference the surrounding city. Subway inspired lighting, chessboard accents, and curved lacquered walls add playful nods to New York culture. In larger suites, dramatic gold to green gradient walls create bold focal points, zoning areas for work, rest, and play, all framed by expansive city views and distinctive artwork.
Columba’s refined finish provides a calm, cohesive foundation beneath these expressive interiors. Its durability and performance make it ideally suited to hospitality environments, while its pale platinum tone enhances light and complements both contemporary and historic elements.
