The Account Manager Role:
The Account Manager position is a dynamic, hybrid role encapsulating both Inside and Outside Sales. Critical to the success of our New York Territory, the position holder will manage local inbound leads, nurture relationships with key allocated accounts, and drive new business growth. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a deep understanding of the Architecture & Design (A&D) community. Key responsibilities include expanding and optimizing your sales pipeline, driving your revenue growth, and enhancing your conversion rates from assigned accounts, in addition to this generating new leads from new businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for fostering and strengthening relationships with Assigned Accounts; leading to increased Pipeline and Sales In.
- Responsible for identifying, generating and nurturing new opportunities from new clients; establishing strong brand credibility and connection.
- Generate new leads each week from outreach calls, face-2-face visits and nurturing new and existing relationships.
- Prospect, validate and nurture inbound sales leads through the Pipeline funnel maintaining minimum conversion rates.
- Present and conduct 'Lunch & Learns', 'CEUs' and 'Why Havwoods' sessions to the A&D Community.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts.
- Provide an industry leading showroom experience to clients.
- Attend A&D networking events as a Havwoods brand ambassador to strengthen relationships and credibility within the A&D Community.

Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service and Wood Flooring market would be desirable.
- Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
- Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
