Boasting contemporary charm, the beautiful Appleton House project underwent a meticulous hallway and kitchen transformation to create a modern space for the homeowners to spend valued time in.
Presenting a muted monochrome aesthetic and design-led furniture and accessories, the interior combines the best of comfort and exquisite styling.
Havwoods’ Alabastro Select 70mm Block was chosen by interior designer Rachel Moore to complement the neutral colour palette seen throughout the downstairs, adding subtle texture and interest to the pared-back scheme.
Running from the hallway into the kitchen / diner, the softness of the wood adds welcome variation to the space alongside the velvet armchairs, reflective kitchen cabinetry and quartz worktops. The variation of ash and grey planks creates a streamlined look, whilst still adding depth, tying in beautifully with the smaller details such as the black console table in the hallway and abstract bar stools in the kitchen.
Although an ideal property for small-space living, the planks add a free-flowing and airy feel to the property, creating an inviting space to relax and spend time in.
