Chef/Owner Johnny Spero enlisted StreetSense to realize the interior design vision for his latest venture, Bar Spero.
Drawing inspiration from his culinary journey through Spanish kitchens and his penchant for playfulness, the interior design mirrors the elemental and distinct qualities of the cuisine, boldly setting itself apart from the conventional dining spaces of Washington, DC.
Embracing a balance of cleanliness and warmth, the space features a refined palette of blonde woods, toffee leather, and cotton velvet seating, complemented by sweeping oceanic drapery for a soft, natural ambiance.
A striking focal point of the design is the LED 'mountain ranges,' gracefully ascending to the lofty heights of the ceilings, delineating seating areas and infusing Bar Spero with a memorable visual identity.
The angled chevron pattern not only enhances the perception of space but also contributes to the restaurant's unique atmosphere, inviting guests into an immersive dining experience.
