Located within a beautiful red brick mansion block in the heart of Marylebone, Bickenhall Mansions is at the heart of one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Central London. A chic residential area with a village feel, Marylebone has an abundance of indie boutiques, smart restaurants and charming cafés to choose from.
The owners of Bickenhall Mansions commissioned architects Sonnemann Toon to breathe a new look into the space. With the large bay windows and high ceilings, the abundance of natural light inspired the team to design open plan living spaces, with an incredible flow from room to room.
To create this aesthetic, Havwoods was commissioned to provide the wood flooring throughout the property. Holme Classic in Herringbone in 130mm, made from European oak, was selected for its contemporary appeal and lightly coloured finish, to complement the brightness of the apartment.
To make the floor pop further, the designer has paired it with dark and dramatic furniture, such as mid-century coffee tables and texted velvet dining chairs and sofas.
