A stunning barn conversion in the heart of Lancashire features two Signature 50 products: the Signature 50 Herringbone and Signature 50 Versailles. Combining rustic charm with modern elegance, the warm and inviting space boasts high ceilings and large windows, allowing natural light to flood in.
The client was keen to retain the original elements but to further enhance the features, rather than compete with them. Blending perfectly with the exposed wooden beams, the variety in the wooden flooring adds further texture and tonal contrast. Signature 50 Versailles was chosen for the entrance flooring, whilst Signature 50 Herringbone was picked for the living room, helping to create a distinction between the two areas.
The Herringbone and Versailles interplay between dark and light tones, helping to add visual interest. The combination of light and dark wood flooring plays with the natural light that enters through the large windows, helping to blur the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. The darker tones mirror the earthier exterior tones, whilst the lighter hues help to reflect the sunlight filtering through the windows.
