With lots of sunshine yellow blown glass hanging over the bar like delicate balloons, ebony-coloured leather banquettes and Havwoods’ smoked oak planks to grace the floor, little wonder that Time Out describes this deluxe brasserie as “a gorgeous place”. Its see-and-be-seen layout and choice central London location is clearly indicative of experience, so it comes as no surprise to learn that owners Luc and Julie van Oostende have a string of restaurants in Belgium, whilst Luc is also a founding member of cafe and bakery chain Le Pain Quotidien.
