Honey & Co. Daily is a newly opened deli, bakery and café on Store Street in London, with a focus on Middle Eastern cooking.
Offering a deli counter for takeaway food and a dining area with a more substantial eat-in menu, it is a dynamic space that pays tribute to the owner’s wife who is behind the breads, pastries and cakes that helped carve Honey & Co.’s reputation.
Airy and bright, the open-plan deli and dining room are bordered by large windows, enabling customers to look over the bustling high street. The interior design is minimalist yet effective, allowing the food to take centre-stage.
Scandinavian-inspired furniture has been paired with an earthy colour palette via terracotta walls and rustic brick tiles which line the counter - an ode to the colours of the Middle East.
Havwoods’ Alsace Character 207mm 1-Strip boards from the Pureplank collection were specified for the project due to their bright colourway and engineered construction. A necessity for commercial spaces with high footfall, the structure of the planks is incredibly durable, hardwearing and easy to clean thanks to its 3-layered design.
The intricate knotting and grains of the flooring work in harmony with the natural foliage dotted throughout, while soft wall and pendant lighting help to set the scene.
