Situated on the banks of the Thames and spread across several floors, IRIS Worldwide is a dynamic space ‘for the forward’. The aim of this project was to create a look that leaves a strong first impression, inspiring creativity and allowing workers to be truly integrated into the agency.
The floorplan of the project has been kept open, with minimal internal partitions to maximise visibility across the space. The interior includes features that create an industrial appeal, perfectly balanced with bespoke joinery and soft furnishings – leaving a high-end and comfortable environment from top to bottom.
Specified from Havwoods’ PurePlank range, the triple layered engineered floorboards used throughout this project are constructed with a solid oak surface bonded to two layers of softwood, ensuring stability and a high-quality aesthetic. The particular boards used for Spacelab are Arena and Aspen Raw, both neutral and classic styles that carry a contemporary and continuous flow through every area of the office.
