Selecting the Perfect Flooring 

With a wet underfloor heating system planned, an engineered wood floor was essential for durability and stability. A high-quality wood layer ensured it could be sanded and refinished over time. 

A wide board was preferred, along with a pale tone to enhance the natural light. After exploring a wide selection of options at the Carnforth showroom, the Astano flooring from Havwoods stood out as the perfect match—elegant, bright, and built to last. 

For the upper floors, a similar style was chosen to maintain continuity throughout the home. The Azur flooring provided a complementary look, with its slightly narrower boards suiting the proportions of the smaller rooms upstairs.
