Mint Velvet is an affordable high street fashion brand whose ethos is relaxed glamour. The leading retail and leisure design agency, Kinnersley Kent, handle the challenge of creating a glamorous environment without being intimidating by utilising a restricted colour palette of charcoal and mint green, with clean lines for the bespoke fixtures softened by an eclectic mix of old and new furniture and props, as well as oversized velvet curtains. Mint Velvet has won numerous awards, including Best Small Shop design.

This year we have supplied around a dozen Mint Velvet boutiques with Oak Heath flooring, a grey, oiled, 20mm rustic board from the Venture Plank range. For a similar but distressed plank consider Henley Oak Leaden; for a 15mm plank try Trapa Oak Siena/Oak Nova or Europlank Oak Chalet/Oak Trend in a lacquered finish; PurePlank Biasca provides a character grade option in an FSC® plank or Xtreme White Hot is an alternative for really heavy duty use.
