The owners of this Melbourne apartment desired a space that delivered penthouse living but also functioned as an occasional guest house. Lucas Lau of Lax Studios was approached to create a space synonymous with the luxury of penthouse living and pair it with the playful functionality of a guest house.
Lax Studios approached the project as a large blank canvas. The selection of the right floor covering was pivotal to the project. Each space within the apartment had to emphasise a sense of distinctiveness, yet also work coherently to bring the space together.
This apartment oozes penthouse living and is now a special, elegant and sophisticated space to host guests. The stunning Havwoods Oak Pallido Herringbone timber flooring provides warmth and style, coupled with durability and low maintenance to ensure this penthouse is a perfect place for both homeowner and guest.
