Co-founded by Canadian hip-hop star Drake, October’s Very Own (OVO) is a street wear collective that spans fashion, music and lifestyle.
With 4 stores already in major cities across North America, OVO appointed Brinkworth and Wilson Brothers to collaborate on their fifth stand-alone store. Building on the successful retail format of existing OVO stores, the designers have reinterpreted the concept to resonate in London’s Soho.
The strong relationship between Havwoods and Brinkworth is manifest as we continue to supply wood for the majority of their projects, in return utilising their design expertise for the roll-out of our own timber flooring showrooms.
On this fit-out the designers were required to elevate the finishes and materials to a premium level and opted for a contemporary and sophisticated look on the floor by choosing Venture Plank Blanco Wide Plank – durable yet stunning UV oiled wide plank flooring, double white stained but still with sufficient natural warmth to stand out from the otherwise monochrome scheme.
