The Pravins jewellery boutique in at Centre MK introduces a bold new expression of the brand, anchored by a dramatic illuminated shop front that places our Notte Select Chevron centre stage. Designed by Studio Duncalf, the store builds on the material language established at Pravins Reading and Cardiff, demonstrating how a consistent timber specification can support brand recognition will allowing each location to deliver its own stand out moments.

Evolving the Pravins Brand through consistent material language

A statement shopfront with Notte Select Chevron

At Milton Keynes, HW16602P Notte Select Chevron becomes a defining architectural feature from the outset. Framing the boutique’s entrance, the chevron timber forms a striking backdrop to the illuminated 3D Pravins signage and individually cut brass lettering, creating a showstopping focal point within the luxury quarter of Centre MK. More than a decorative finish, the timber wall establishes depth, warmth and texture at the threshold, immediately setting the tone for the refined interior beyond.

Where texture shapes the experience

This use of Notte Select Chevron extends throughout the store, appearing on interior wall cladding around the back bar and incorporating a concealed door to the back-of-house. The repeated application of the same timber product creates a sense of cohesion across the space, allowing other materials - arabescato marble, bronze reeded glass and plush velvets to layer in contrast and richness. The impressive, rich timber panelling expresses Pravin’s luxury and heritage, reinforcing craftsmanship and a sense of refined elegance. The result is a confident, immersive retail environment where materiality shapes the customer experience.

“When working on multiple Pravins stores, specifying the same Havwoods product was key to maintaining consistency,” says Lisa Moss, Designer at Studio Duncalf. “Notte Select Chevron gives us a strong, recognisable foundation that we can reinterpret in different ways, allowing each boutique to feel individual while still clearly belonging to the same brand.”

Designing for brand recognition across locations

Crucially, the Milton Keynes boutique forms part of a wider, considered brand rollout for Pravins. By specifying Notte Select Chevron across Milton Keynes, Reading and Cardiff, the design team has established a consistent material identity that underpins the brand’s retail presence. While each store responds to its own location and layout, the repeated use of the same timber product creates familiarity, reinforces quality and ensures a seamless brand experience across multiple sites.
