As part of the award winning Darwin Escapes group, located in the heart of the Peak District is the luxurious Rivendale Lodge Retreat. Tucked away with breathtaking views of the countryside, the lodge provides the perfect place for a weekend getaway.
The brief was to create a welcoming space for guests of all ages; including a reception, lounge, bar, games area and restaurant. With an aim of bringing the outside in, the interior needed to reflect the rural charm of the local area along with remaining functional and able to accommodate large groups or guests travelling with dogs.
Medio Prime was selected from the Design From Havwoods collection, specified for its hardwearing properties, the engineered oak boasts a UV oiled finish, allowing it to be easily cleaned and maintained. An ideal solution to tie the scheme together, the herringbone design adds interest, whilst staying in keeping with the rustic scheme.
