Located in the heart of the Surrey Hills National Landscape, this stunning cottage renovation project required a sensitive approach to both architecture and construction. What began as a minor refurbishment of the existing cottage evolved into a comprehensive remodelling, extension, and landscaping project.
Led by architect Paul Duffy of architecture studio BetterPAD, this rural West Sussex cottage was transformed into something truly special. “It evolved to become this genuinely amazing project,” he says. The brief was to create a home that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, while also respecting the property's existing character and context.
