Where historic grandeur meets modern hospitality.
At the heart of downtown San Francisco, the Beacon Grand Hotel stands as a timeless landmark of Renaissance Revival architecture. Its majestic lobby, featuring ornate chandeliers, marble columns, and soaring arched mirrors, serves as the hotel’s grand centerpiece, a welcoming space that captures the building’s legacy of luxury and sophistication.
Recently reimagined as part of an extensive renovation, the lobby now balances historic craftsmanship with contemporary design. The large open space includes a central seating area, café, and the Beacon Lounge, a mezzanine-level piano bar that overlooks the activity below.
To complement the architectural splendor, we supplied Antique (HW1597) from the Henley Collection, a beautifully auburn-toned European oak installed in an intricate Versailles pattern. The deep warmth of the wood contrasts elegantly with the marble finishes and gilded detailing, adding texture, depth, and a sense of permanence to the interiors.
The result is a refined and inviting atmosphere that honors the hotel’s storied past while embracing modern sophistication. With its distinctive tone and handcrafted feel, Antique exemplifies the character and quality synonymous with Havwoods’ Henley Collection, a fitting foundation for this San Francisco icon.
