Redesigning The Interior 

Sarah Hastie of Hastie Studios approached the redesign of The Sidcot Arms with a clear vision, embracing the building’s traditional roots while injecting a fresh, airy atmosphere. 

The project encompassed a complete refurbishment involved both interior and exterior, including the creation of two boutique guest rooms with sweeping views. A timeless design, with an overtly bright and airy vibe, with a focus on creating an open atmosphere that brings warmth and character to this North Somerset destination. 

Choosing The Floor 

More than a functional choice, the flooring throughout The Sidcot Arms plays a defining role in the mood and atmosphere of the interiors. Both products from the Pureplank collection offered the robustness needed for high-traffic areas alongside the design flexibility essential for a hospitality setting.  

HW2302 Lucerne from the Pureplank collection offers a calm, versatile foundation for the scheme. Its understated grain and soft tone complement the light-filled interiors. Meanwhile, the HW2052 Lattes Herringbone with ts rich cocoa tones contrast beautifully with the soft furnishings and the interior design.
