Our Delivery Information

We take pride in delivering an exceptional service and ensuring that every Havwoods customer receives the highest level of support from first contact through to final delivery. 

With over 450 premium flooring products and 200 luxury wood surfaces, we hold the largest stock of timber flooring in the UK. The vast majority of products featured in our WoodBook are held in stock and available for immediate dispatch from our state-of-the-art distribution centre beside the M6 motorway in North West England. Stock can also be reserved with a 20% deposit for up to two months in order to guarantee delivery whenever and wherever you need it.

Delivery rates

For all surface products there is a £150.00 delivery charge.

All next day deliveries £50.00 kerbside only, due to the nature of the products these may not come off on a tail lift, please ensure enough labour is on site to accept the delivery as this may require handballing from the side of vehicle.

Please note: Kerbside is closest kerb to the side of the vehicle, and does not include driveway or onto the property.

These rates apply to UK Mainland and apply to products up to 2.4 metres in length. POA for non Mainland and Scottish Highlands, and/or products in excess of 2.4 metres. Above deliveries are kerbside only. Due to the nature of the products, some may not be offloaded using a tail lift and will have to be manual handled from the vehicle. Please ensure suitable labour is at the delivery point to offload your delivery.

FAQ's and additional information

Please make sure you are prepared

Please note that the above delivery services are a kerbside trade delivery services and it is your responsibility to carry the goods from the delivery truck into the property. We recommend that labour is arranged to assist with the offload. A number of our products are over 2.3 meters in length and will therefore not come out of the rear of the vehicle or on a tail lift. Any long products will need to be offloaded by hand from the side of the delivery vehicle.

Delivery restrictions 

Deliveries can be made on large commercial vehicles. We will assume that the property is easily accessible to these types of vehicles. Please advise of any restrictions at point of order.

How will my order arrive?

Please be aware most of our shipments will be on a pallet and this will be left with you at the point of delivery along with any packing used to protect the goods whilst in transit.

What if I miss my delivery? 

If no one is available to accept your delivery at the address you have provided, or suitable labour was not arranged, we will charge you for re-delivery of £30.00 + VAT when you reschedule.

Order not as expected?

It is important to check the packages for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. In the rare event that you receive damaged goods or there are missing items, please make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. Please contact us directly as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolved it swiftly.

Booking for an installer

We strongly advise against booking installers until your new floor has arrived. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses because of problems with delivery or floors not being acclimatised properly.

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Ireland, islands and non mainland UK

Please be aware that customers living outside of Mainland UK or in some territories of Scotland may not be eligible for next day delivery or AM service. Deliveries outside mainland UK (Scottish Higlands, Ireland, islands etc) will incur extra delivery charges. These are prices upon application. Bank Holidays and out of hours deliveries
