The Italian Collection is inspired by the detailed floors of Italy and is the ideal choice for those looking to lay different patterns or mix and match between planks with other materials. The collection comes in a selection of different shades, with two new species (Walnut and Acacia) recently added which are PEFC certified.
The Italian Collection contains FSC® certified timber and our highly consistent board consists of two layers, a surface of select grade slow-grown European oak which accounts for over a 1/3 of the overall depth.
This is backed by a spruce or birch ply. The Italian Collection features a traditional tongue and groove profile and has either a lacquered or oiled finish. In addition to this, they are also suitable for fitting over underfloor heating.
You can find our Italian Collection products in projects around the world including the Mulberry Restaurant in Conwy which features the Pallido Chevron, as well as Juice Theory in Brooklyn, who selected Ardesia Block. It is also possible to create truly unique floors by combining different colour products within the same floor, a look so successfully achieved at Cutter's Yard in London.
Please note that all Herringbone and Chevron blocks are supplied with a groove on two sides and tongue on two and are handed, they will be supplied in the correct ratio.
