| Hokuto Mizunara Japanese Oak | HW2372
Renowned for its rarity and exceptional quality, Japanese Mizunara oak (Quercus crispula) is one of the world's most sought-after hardwoods. Best known for its use in Japanese whisky casks, where only the very finest, virtually flawless sections of timber are selected, this remarkable species takes around 200 years to reach maturity, making it one of the most valuable oaks available.
Hokuto is carefully rift and quarter sawn, a considered cutting technique that showcases the oak's beautifully straight, refined grain and distinctive natural character - introducing a sophisticated aesthetic to any space.
