Is there a more perfect pairing than genuine European Oak timber and a beautiful hand-crafted rug? Designers Studio Goss transformed what was a commercial bathroom showroom into a warm and inviting tactile space, suitable for showcasing Armadillo & Co's sustainable, high-end luxurious rugs.
Studio Goss were given the task of designing a showroom that would showcase Armadillo & Co's beautiful product at the same time as being flexible enough to comfortably host clients and events.
Choosing to pursue a feel of calm and sophistication throughout, a palette of natural materials and earthy, warm tones was selected. Studio Goss selected Havwoods HW932 Aspen Raw timber flooring from the Venture Plank range, due to it's warm, neutral tone and beautiful timber texture.
Used as wall cladding throughout the space, Havwoods Aspen Raw transformed the project, providing a warm contrast to the pale grey concrete and render and a perfect match to the tactile textures to the gorgeous Armadillo rugs.
The Havwoods Aspen Raw timber also features in a beautifully crafted joinery on a double height facade at the showroom entrance, providing an impressive yet calm, natural and warm feeling right on entry.
