Havwoods celebrates World Wood Day 2019

World Wood Day takes place to heighten the need for awareness to make changes for an eco-friendly and sustainable future. The earth’s atmosphere is not the only casualty of deforestation. 70% of the world’s plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to this destruction. This in turn has an adverse effect on local populations. Trees are also vital to the cycle and in halting soil erosion.
TO CELEBRATE WORLD WOOD DAY ON THURSDAY 21ST MARCH 2019, HAVWOODS WILL BE PLANTING TREES TO CONTRIBUTE TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
How can you get involved? For every order made between Monday 18th March and Friday 22nd March 2019, Havwoods will plant a tree on your behalf.
