Havwoods open third showroom in Australia

Hot on the heels of moving to larger premises in Melbourne, we are delighted to have opened a third Australian showroom in Newcastle, New South Wales.
It’s an exciting time for Newcastle with the NSW government’s “Revitalising Newcastle” program well underway, $6.5 billion worth of infrastructure planned or under way and nearly $2 billion in private development projects – Newcastle is set to boom!
Adding to all this excitement, is a brand new Havwoods showroom – situated conveniently in the heart of Newcastle at 150 King Street. Following the same successful new-concept of the Sydney, Melbourne and global showrooms, the Newcastle Showroom elegantly displays over 200 timber flooring and cladding products in a way that makes the specifying and product selection process simple, enjoyable and comfortable.
A rich composition of materials, including brass and black steel were selected to complement and offset the timber flooring collections. Our signature display tables reflect a key decision to take timber planks off the vertical and onto the horizontal, the orientation in which it is viewed most in reality. This allows you to engage with the product at table height delivering a closer, more tangible experience.
Two sample bar tables allow you to browse unassisted, showcasing all of our products at an accessible scale. These small hand samples are ready for you to take-away with you, free of charge.
A luxurious lounge space makes for a comfortable and informal experience while you to take your time with your selection, go over project plans with your clients or colleagues, compare material palettes with your timber flooring choices, or browse some magazines for inspiration – all while enjoying free WiFi and coffee on us.
We are excited to be part of the exciting times in Newcastle and to be able to open the doors to yet another fantastic resource to designers, specifiers, builders, home owners and more.
From Wednesday 8th August 2018, the showroom will be open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. We look forward to seeing you in the brand new Newcastle Showroom at 150 King Street soon!
